The Head of Pricing is responsible for delivering concept-level profit growth targets through the creation of the most compelling product offers in the competitive set, within each of Punch Pub Company's core areas of participation. To support the development of all food and drink product ranges, and associated retail pricing structures, GP and volume implications, in order to provide the best value customer offers within the agreed quality benchmarks across the managed business.
 
Key Accountabilities
 
1.      The strategic development of all product price positioning in conjunction with the Head of Concepts.
 
2.      Responsible for the individual retail pricing of every food and drink product in every Punch Pub Company Outlet.
 
3.      To liase with the Commercial team and Head of Concept to ensure the correct and appropriate product price and range is implemented in accordance with the concept strategy.
 
4.      Develop and maintain an effective, efficient and simplistic model for managing pricing within the Punch Pub Company business.
 
5.      Maintain and develop Punch Pub Company's competitive advantage in product pricing and deals capability, with particular focus on driving profitable volume growth in Food.
 
6.      Manage the marketing-supplier relationship, via the Commercial Team, including all discussions on deploying and maximising JDF, supplier engagement with plans, innovation partnerships and pipelines etc.
 
7.      Increase Punch Pub Company's capability to test, trail and rollout at speed product innovations within existing concepts. Draw in expertise from commercial and supplier teams to drive better product selection and innovation.
 
The successful applicants primary responsibility is for food and drink theoretical margins across all our core segments and offers. Their secondary responsibility is for food and drink sales and volumes (jointly with Offer and Operations). Ensuring that accurate product and consumables costings associated with offer or product changes are established.
